Pssst...you should buy me!

On a recent trip to Home Goods I saw this lovely chair. It was calling my name! It would look so great in my family room! However, I had just purchased a rug, some pillows (why are they so expensive!?!?!) and wall décor. I just didn't think that I should make another (somewhat) large purchase. I'll wait, I thought. I'll comeback next week and it will be MINE! NEVER say that about a treasure at Home Goods. You already know the end of the story, don't you? Yes, it was gone! Now I am looking for another chair. Wish me luck! And the next time you hear "pssst...you should buy me", you may want to listen!

Spring...where art thou??

If you are at ALL like me, you are ready for SPRING! If you live in an area of the country that is STILL enjoying winter, you are ready for SPRING! In fairness, the area I live in usually does not see spring for a few more weeks, however this winter has been cold and snowy and cold...and snowy! It just feels like a very looooong winter. On a trip to Target today, I FOUND SPRING!!! Thanks to the Threshold collection, and it is BEAUTIFUL!! It is so cheerful, happy and lovely to look at. Does this make you happy? I left Target and headed to my car through a wall of snowflakes. Oh how I wished I had "purchased" a little bit of spring...

Just for Fun!

Laundry is not a favorite job of many people I know. It is necessary, but not enjoyable. Not something that many look forward to with glee. One way to make it more pleasant is the environment in which you do this "delightful" task. Here is one example: What do you do to make this chore more enjoyable?

Pantone Color of the Year!

Pantone chooses a "Color of the Year". Last years color was Emerald, this year is Radiant Orchid. SO...the question is... do we care? Does their choice of the color of year dictate your décor? Yea, me either. It is not a color I would paint a room or upholster a piece of furniture. I don't believe many people would. However,we do see it in décor and fashion. Perhaps a print pillow, or artwork with a touch of radiant orchid would be lovely. Do you like this color better when mixed with navy or mushroom? For me this is a "use in VERY small quantities" if at ALL, color. Thoughts?
