Grandma, why do you have plates on the wall?

I love decorating with plates! In fact, I just have a thing for plates. I swear they call to me in a store. My granddaughter thinks its funny that I hang them on the wall when we are supposed to eat off of them. She does have a point. When looking for plates (when they are not calling to me)I like to look for the plastic versions from Target. They are pretty and not as heavy as the porcelain. It's an inexpensive way to fill a space in a kitchen, dining room or entry. What are your thoughts? Plates...no plates?
